Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about our mission, approach, and the clean energy data infrastructure behind Olive Power.

What does Olive Power do?
Olive Power develops modular, community-integrated data infrastructure powered by clean energy. We make it easy for organizations to deploy high-performance compute and data storage facilities without stressing the grid or disrupting local communities.
What makes Olive Power different from traditional data centers?
Our sites are built around right-sized, repeatable modules that integrate solar and battery storage from day one. This approach cuts development time, lowers risk, and ensures reliability without the environmental footprint of large-scale facilities.
How does the clean energy component work?
Each site is developed with utility-grade solar and battery energy storage (BESS) integrated into the design — not added later. That means cleaner operations, stable uptime, and less dependence on external grid power.
Who are your projects designed for?
We partner with organizations that need sustainable bulk data or compute infrastructure — from AI operators and edge networks to government, research, and enterprise data initiatives.
What does “community-integrated” mean?
We develop in partnership with local landowners, municipalities, and agricultural zones to ensure mutual benefit. Our sites can co-exist with farms and rural developments, helping communities gain economic value while maintaining their land use.
Where are Olive Power sites located?
We identify qualified, zoned land with existing permitting pathways — avoiding high-conflict areas and reducing time to deployment. Our model allows replication across regions while maintaining local alignment.
How scalable is the Olive Power model?
Each site functions as a modular node within a larger distributed network. As the number of sites grows, the overall risk of downtime trends toward zero, creating a resilient, meshed infrastructure built to scale rapidly.
How do I start working with Olive Power?
You can request a Site Packet or Secure Your LOI directly on our website. Once you’ve submitted your interest, our development team will share available sites, permitting timelines, and partnership options.
What kind of sustainability standards do you follow?
Olive Power adheres to state and federal clean energy guidelines and partners with certified renewable providers. Every project is designed to exceed local energy efficiency and emissions standards.
What’s the long-term vision for Olive Power?
To redefine how data infrastructure and energy coexist — creating a distributed network of sustainable, community-aligned data centers that power the future of AI, compute, and digital services without harming the planet.
